Vlaag is a local, established, insured roofing company hiring phone-first sales reps. You work from home making calls. Our app serves you a ready list of storm-hit homes, one lead at a time, with the factual storm history for every house on the card. You book the free inspection by phone, then show up in person only for your own inspection days to get the homeowner signed. No roofing experience needed. We take care of everything after the sign, including the claim, the adjuster, and getting the project finished, so your deals actually close and you get paid.
What you'll do
- Work a served call list of storm-hit homes from home (the app queues one lead at a time)
- Talk with homeowners and book free storm inspections by phone
- Show up for your own inspection days to meet the homeowner and get the agreement signed
- Log every call outcome in the app so your queue stays fresh
- You never negotiate anyone's insurance claim. You book the inspection, and the office runs the claim.
What we look for
- 18 or older
- A quiet place to make calls and a reliable phone
- Reliable transportation for your own inspection days
- Live within driving range of our service area
- Comfortable making a high volume of calls, evenings and Saturdays included
- Sales or phone experience is a plus, but not required
- Able to pass a background check
Pay & upside
Uncapped 1099 profit-share. You earn a share of each job's profit, paid in two parts as the insurance checks come in. Reps in roofing sales commonly earn around $65k to $75k a year hitting weekly goals, and top performers make $100k to $250k or more. This is commission and profit-share on a 1099 basis. Those numbers are a market range, not a guarantee, and what you earn depends on your results. There is no hourly base.
